Who we are

Starbalm Philippines (“we”, “us”) operates the storefront at starbalm.ph. We’re committed to protecting your personal data in line with Republic Act 10173 (the Data Privacy Act of 2012) and the rules of the National Privacy Commission.

What we collect

Order details: name, shipping address, email, phone number, and order contents.
Payment data: handled by our payment processors (cards, GCash, Maya, GrabPay, COD). We never see or store your card numbers.
Site usage: standard log data (IP, browser, pages viewed), and analytics events to understand which products and pages perform.
Marketing consent: if you opt in to email or SMS, we store that consent and the date you gave it.

How we use it

To process, ship, and support your order.
To send transactional updates (order confirmation, shipping).
To send marketing only with your consent — you can opt out anytime.
To prevent fraud and abuse of the storefront.
To improve product and site performance in aggregate.

Who we share it with

We share only what’s necessary, only with vetted processors:

Couriers (J&T, LBC, Lalamove) to deliver your order.
Payment processors to charge the agreed amount.
Email/SMS providers for transactional and consented messages.
Analytics tools for aggregate reporting.

We do not sell your personal data. Ever.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act, you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to object, to erasure or blocking, to damages, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email privacy@starbalm.ph. We respond within 15 working days.

Retention

We retain order records for 5 years for tax and compliance purposes. Marketing-only data is deleted within 30 days of you withdrawing consent.
